Guides and How-To Books for Youth
Wanting to learn more about advocacy, but don’t know where to start? You’re not alone! Everyone who is involved in advocacy once had no clue what the word ‘advocacy’ meant, or how to go about getting involved! This is a comprehensive guide to clarifying every type of bill or piece of legislation that is currently relevant to PANS/PANDAS advocacy. It is geared towards youth advocates to encourage them to dip their toes into making an impact on legislation in their city, state, and even the entire United States of America! We make it easy as pie to understand the complex world of advocacy, and how to make a remarkable impact on the PANS/PANDAS community and broader society.
Misdiagnosed & Misunderstood: Treating Neuroimmune Disorders Extended Edition
We put our heart and soul into last year’s NAMI California workshop in Sacramento, CA. Many audience members were emotionally touched by our stories, and gained valuable knowledge on neuroimmune disorders (especially PANS/PANDAS). That’s why we have made extended slides to continue to spread awareness and educate audiences on the current science of PANS/PANDAS. This slideshow is meant for parents, therapists, physicians, researchers, and even youth who are passionate about learning more about their condition. If you are a child, teen, or young adult who would like free access to these slides, please email us at nationalpandasyouthalliance@gmail.com to get your free PDF file of the presentation!
